NON-DUALITY & ALCHEMY
In mystical and earth based spiritual teachings there is no good or bad, no right or wrong. It is what it is and we are here to learn instead of judge. Discovering this spiritual path was a huge relief. It is very different from traditional religious views that are highly dualistic and so often non-inclusive. We live in a dualistic world so it makes sense that we have done things this way for so long to keep some kind of order. This is assuming we need an authority or parent figure to govern us and keep us secure. This is assuming we don’t know what is best for ourselves like children who need to be taught how to act according to the values of the system. It resonated with me that we can not delegate parts of ourselves as good or bad but human on a continuum of consciousness within a paradigm of spiritual values.
Are we identified with our reactive, blaming, or defended self repeating those stories of perpetrator, victim, rescuer over and over or are we able to observe ourselves, our judgments and reactions? Can we see them as normal human reactions and wait for the bigger truth and knowing to emerge? We can be quick to blame and hold onto our judgments creating further divide and splits within ourselves, our relationships to others and the Divine.
The path of non-duality and alchemy can be used to ease suffering in the world and create unity. In my opinion, this is the only way to transmute and transcend what we call evil in our dualistic world. When the world is in complete chaos, perpetuating trauma, polarizing itself, devaluing and destroying life, we may feel hate, anger, or rage. These feelings serve a purpose in fueling our actions, propelling us to speak our truth, (once we’ve gotten grounded in it) and setting boundaries that uphold our values and self worth.
We don’t hide from the truth. Speaking it out loud will help us attract others who are like minded so we can join forces to create change. We can call on our Divine team of Guides to back us up at all times. Humanity has created many archetypal stories, heroes/heroines, and villains engaged in the battle of good versus evil. Do we want dystopia or utopia? As we swing in the balance we are in the midst of a tipping point. What’s it gonna be? Personally, I believe the high vibes will transcend us because I’m typically a glass half full kinda gal. We shall see how many of us are out there willing to stick our necks out and get uncomfortable.
As we witness disturbing violence, greed and hate in the world, we can hold the opposite states of peace, generosity, compassion and love. We might need help transmuting these energies. There’s fear and grief along the way. We can do this on our own but I find it’s easier to do it in a group where the energy is amplified.
When we come together in this way, we empower one another to go back out into the world and fulfill our purpose. These are what I call magick circles of power. In a “power with” system where everyone belongs, we shift the paradigm to align with our values and soul purpose. There is no exclusion of any part of us or the collective, only transmutation.
